Sometimes, a glittering professional's career hides some of the darkest stories beneath. As the winner of both the USA and World competitions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after a lot of struggle and perseverance. Jones was the only member of a five-child household as well as grew up poor. Jones lived with her mom in the basement of a church.
